Tough leadership decisions are rarely about data or tools. They are about clarity, courage, and alignment. Inspired by Wang Yangming’s philosophy of the unity of knowledge and action, I’ve learned that we don’t truly “know” what is right until we act on it. Leadership begins with inner alignment and becomes visible through consistent action.

Leadership starts with people. A recent community celebration and the honor of receiving the Distinguished Leadership Award reminded me that lasting progress grows from cultural understanding, human connection, and leaders who create space for others to belong and contribute.

AgBio Dialogues is a space for slowing down conversations in ag-biotech, where science meets leadership, and where reflections leads to growth.
